Kariyappa Gowda, an honest, sincere resident of the humble Kadaba village, spent his entire youth working hard to feed his 4 children. A man who left no feat to care of his children was betrayed by his very own son. Ravish, his eldest son, managed to escape the life of an agricultural producer and secured the job a policeman. He tricked the innocent naive Kariyappa into giving his thumbprints on some papers that were supposedly made "to solve some longstanding property dispute". Under the pretense of resolving a longstanding property dispute, Ravish cunningly transferred the land rights into his name.
